About Serena

I have always had a passion for sport and coaching. While studying at the University of Leeds, I qualified a Personal Trainer, and then took my passion further in Brisbane, Australia, earning her ASCA Strength and Conditioning accreditation. Most recently, I added IronmanU certification to my list of credentials.

I am former national-level rugby player and made the switch to endurance sports in my 20s. From doing my first ever sprint triathlon in 2019 and then my first Ironman in 2021 (and just about surviving!) I recently won the Nottingham Outlaw Half (and set a new course record), European Long Distance AG Champs in 2024 and previously achieving multiple Ironman and 70.3 titles to earn my British Triathlon Professional License.

With my time working through the age group ranks, I know what it’s like to balance a busy career with training for big goals. I specialise in helping athletes of all levels find the right balance so they can achieve their goals without burning out. So whether you’re new to triathlon or aiming for your next podium, my coaching focuses on making your training effective and sustainable—helping you reach your potential, one swim, bike, and run at a time.
